After three Starlight Australia Day cruises in 2013, 2014 and 2018, our total donation to the Starlight Children's Foundation stands at $25,500. That's fantastic and we owe a great thanks to the people who have supported them over the years but there is just one wee problem and it has been bugging us for nearly two years.
The wee problem is that we hoped to reach $30,000 after the 2018 cruise and fell a little short. By our own rules, 2020 is the last year we can do the cruise before 2024 and that's just too far away. We are going to go all out in 2020 with what is being dubbed as the Unfinished Business cruise. Can we reach $40,000? Who knows but we are not setting a goal this time so that we don't end up in the same position in 2024. Let's just have a great day out again and donate as much as we can to Starlight.
